Following ibogaine administration, you will feel weary and may have difficulties sleeping. This is partially mitigated by the fact that the vast majority of patients will not experience any cravings or withdrawal symptoms during their treatment.
Heavy users may still have mild difficulty at this point in the treatment process, but the most of of residual withdrawal symptoms will have been eradicated by this point. Any discomfort that persists will subside after the administration of ibogaine booster doses. We give booster doses to almost everyone and have found this to be crucial to ending any lingering symptoms of withdrawals. Booster doses will not recreate the experience of the flood dosing you received the night prior. Most patients have some dream like visions but it is very subtle and not a problem.
Throughout the day, we will encourage you to eat, drink, and walk around as much as possible. You will also receive complimentary massages from our massage therapist. When you’re clean and sober, your addiction is no longer a problem, and you’re in a beautiful, opulent setting, we’ll assist you in beginning to learn to reconnect with your feelings and your surroundings. In order to help you in processing your experience, our on-site therapist will be available for individual sessions.
