By day 4 your body will be stable on the morphine and at 9 am you receive your last dose of morphine. For breakfast and lunch you will be given no solid foods, but instead will get an amazing smoothie, in fact you can have as many as you want until 12pm, after that you will need to fast.
During the time leading up to your dose you will work hard at setting your expectations and we will show you how to do that. You will also receive a couple IV infusions of vitamins and minerals that we use to promote good heart health. This is also a way for us to make sure you are well hydrated.
About 7pm you will receive a medication that is used to keep people from experiencing motion sickness, similar to what you may take on a cruise ship.
At 8pm you will be given a 200mg test dose, we do this to make sure you have allergic reaction. You will feel a little light headed and may even hear the ibogaine begin to buzz around in your head. This is normal and most patients report being intrigued by sound and excited by the anticipation of reaching this point.
